Shortcuts and Timesaving TIPS
Our users often have repetitive tasks to perform, and they want to "personalize" their desktop to aid in their day to day use of our programs. The most commonly used method of shortcuts is displayed by adjusting your personal account via My Account (contact your systems administrator for assistance). Additional shortcuts may be added for further speed and customization. We have compiled some examples of how to create shortcuts and personalize your desktop.
Depending on your browser, it may be necessary for you to perform some simple modifications to your browser configuration to allow links to appear in your browser. If you have questions about how to make linking modifications our Support Staff can help you (support@sg1.us or 877-560-2457).
Reduce link clicking, and create a new shortcut by first going to the page you want to set as a default (create, in the PEOPLE portion of the program). Start by clicking on People. Next, click on the "Create" link in the sub-menu. Drag and drop the icon in the URL address field to the "Links" portion of your menu bar. Your shortcut is now listed in the "Links" portion of your browser's menu bar.
Right click on the new link you created. Select the "RENAME" option, and type in the new name [Add-a-Person], and click OK. The new link you created will now be shown with the new name you created for it.
